HD mod (High Resolution Project) – an addon pack for Heroes of Might and Magic 3.
Description
Originally HoMM 3 HD mod was created to change the original resolution 800×600 game for more, but now the functionality is much broader.
HoMM 3 HD changes game resolution to any from 800×600 to 4000×4000, adds new functionality and fixes some original bugs..
- Allows you to change the game resolution to any from 800×600 to 4000×4000.
By changing the resolution in the gameis changed size of the visible area of the map in the adventure, and when viewing the world/land/air. Main menu, introductory videos, videos of victory and defeat, the loading screen, the record screen, the menu of original campaigns are displayed without changing the size in the center of the frame. The rest of the screens (the city, the battle, the review of the kingdom, the thieves’ guild, and so forth.) are displayed without resizing a window.
- Allows you to run the game in windowed mode with 32-bit color depth of your desktop. To switch to windowed mode, press the key in the game «F4».
- The minimap in the game works fine with the non-standard size maps.
- Absolutely does not affect the files of the original game, which is set not changed the original can be run from the same folder where you installed HoMM 3 HD.
- Reduces the load on the CPU of the game.
- Plays all the sounds in the game in a parallel flow – no need to wait for playing sounds in the game, which speeds up the game.
