RedForce.SB – mod for the game Civilization 4: Beyond The Sword.

 

RedForce.SB mode installation and setting

 

  • Take the mode out of the archive into any folder but not into the modes folder!
  • Start the “RedForce.SB.exe” program.
  • Open “Tools” -> “Program settings”.
  • Check whether the “Way to the Civ4 folder (Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword)” and “Way to the settings folder (My documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword)” fields are filled in, if not, press “Choose” and choose their position.
  • Open “Tools” -> “Check availability of additions”.
  • Press “Check now” (1) and wait until the list (2) gets renewed, choose the additions that you want to download and press “Open the page with the link to download” (3).
  • Choose the mode settings switching the bookmarks.
  • Launch the generation of the mode.
  • In the “RedForce” program there is the possibility for the 3D preview of models (1), for this the installed “NifSkope” program is needed, indicate the way to it (2) if you have it already installed or open the “NifSkope” site (2), download and install it, after that indicate the way to it.
  • If there are mistakes when downloading the game with the mode or other mistakes, or you want to improve something in the program, write a comment on the program.
